Consumer hardware encompasses off-the-shelf computing devices utilized by adversaries to execute AI-based attacks. By operating on privately owned, non-enterprise infrastructure, the adversary gains full administrative control over the execution environment, effectively bypassing centralized monitoring and complicating attribution efforts.
Consumer hardware denotes commodity-grade computing platforms acquired by threat actors to facilitate AI-driven adversarial operations. Possession of the underlying physical hardware grants the adversary root-level control over the entire software stack and execution environment, ensuring complete operational autonomy and significantly increasing the difficulty of forensic traceability and network-based detection.
