Financial Harm
Financial harm happens when an AI system is manipulated to steal your money, trick you into giving away your savings, or force you to hand over your property to a bad actor.
Financial harm in AI security refers to the unauthorized depletion of monetary assets or property resulting from adversarial exploitation, such as fraudulent transactions, social engineering, or coerced resource transfers facilitated by AI model manipulation.
Financial harm is defined as the quantifiable reduction of an entity's net wealth, tangible property, or liquid monetary assets, directly attributable to adversarial exploitation of AI systems through mechanisms including, but not limited to, unauthorized transaction execution, fraudulent identity impersonation, forgery, or the application of coercive pressure to induce the illicit transfer of financial resources.
